Arcane Player Window

Description

Arcane player window with animated ORB.
GRAFX By - T.KING (Master of Arcane)
Please give him some props for this great desgin.
It has been my favorite grafx mod yet.

The orb flashes red when attack is on.

The bars include
Hit Points
Power
Concentration
Adventure XP with partial and debt
Tradeskill XP with partial and debt

*Currently the #% for tradeskill is not working. When SOE fixes the problem I will add the numbers.*

*SMALL UPDATES*
Updated and cleaned up the images a bit.
You should now be able to click off the concentrations.
The %'s should always be white

*BUGS*
The debt% will display as -XP if you have 0% debt
Example 53% XP 0% debt....the debt dill display -53%
The "BIG PATCH" changed this and there is nothing i can do sorry

*INSTALL NOTES*
Create a folder in the UI directory and unzip these files to that folder.
Create a file in the main EQ2 directory called eq2.ini
Add these 2 commands to the new file.
"ArcanePW" is the foldername where the UI files were extracted too. Please make sure what ever you name your folder is entered here.

cl_ui_skinname ArcanePW
cl_ui_subdir UI/

Let me know if theres any ways for improvement.

Installation

Ok i am a good girl so i read the FAQ again about installation but i think one this is not covered concerning your UI.

The Folder Image. Do i let in in the new UI folder i made or do i place it in ..\UI\Default\ folder where i see another "Images" Folder.

My guess is that it is due to go here but i asked since there is another 40mn patch to go

By the way all the UI you created (or adapted from EQ1) looks very nice and i can't wait to get the group UI too.

Would be nice if you can make the hotbars at 3/4 with the same design too. I need my 4 hotbars one above the other (grouped in 2*6) in 1280x1024 screen size format.

Am i demanding ? I think so but you make nice stuff so be ready to be asked for more

If possible, can any1 tell me , why i dont have image when use this part of skin?
Mean image's for Player window.
I make all right... Pwindow looks change.. but no font images

This is awesome, but if I may make a suggestion. A decimal point on the exp bar would be great, or another bar that shows your progress to 10%. At higher levels you just can't get an accurate idea of how much exp you're getting without the fraction bar.

I also find that the numbers for Health %, Power, Power %, Concentration are all a little too close together which makes them a little harder to read.

The exp bar has a small blue bar that moves in 1% increments. This bar is in the middle and clearly visible in the UI...not the screen shot.

I did notice that afterwards. The view of that bar is usually obstructed by the % numbers in the middle of the bar. Plus it's hard to get a guage as to how much the sub bar actually indicates for exp.

If I may make some suggestions:

Decimal point for exp
Use a smaller font for the numbers between the bars
Move the Health number to underneath the Health bar
Move the Power number to underneath the Power bar
Move the Concentration number to underneath the Concentration Bar
Move the Debt to underneath the EXP Bar
Put the Attack number where the Health number is now

But once again, very well done.

I don't know if decimals will work....never tried. I'll play with it to see what i can find.

Feel free if you are able to move the #'s around. In UI builder its pretty easy to figure out. I'll play with it and if I see something that makes it easier I'll upload an alternate or revision. Its hard when keeping the UI small is the main goal. Thanks for your input /tips.

when i loaded this UI i lost visual on my regular XP bar. its still there i can right click on it but with max opacity i still dont graphically see it. Id like to keep my regular XP bar is that possible?

and as a request , Could you make the graphics flash in combat mode and use the circle to indicate life color like in EQ1? =)

Since the 'big update' my exp debt has been displaying negative the amount of exp I have. Same on my girlfriend's computer.

Great interface and thank you to T King for his awesome graphics as always... I have modified some of the features and displays to fit my style and shrunk the size down about 30%... However.. I was wondering if there was a way to at least get the "mouse over" to display the tradeskill xps. I realize the % is broken and went ahead and added that in anyhow but havent figured out how to get the mouse over to display like it does in the profile screen. Suggestions?

Try switching to tradeskill XP and mousing over.

Not sure what you mean there... could you clarify please? Am hoping to be able to have the tradeskill xp's display when the mouse is over the tradeskill bar.. It does display the adv xp's when the mouse is over.. and the health pops up as well..
