Guild Progress Bar

Alternate Straight Icon Style (For users who prefer a more traditional style).

Zoomed Durability Bar
  • Shows only the upper 45% of the durability bar.
  • Makes imminent failure more noticeable.
Removed Redundant Product Icons
  • Slimmed the number of product icons from 4 to 2.
2 x 3 Reaction Button Layout
  • Separates progress reactions from durability reactions.
  • Replicates macro key pattern from older G11/G15 and G510 logitech keyboards
Enlarged Event Icon
  • Makes the event type more easily discernible

Tradeskill XP Bar

Enter and Esc keys functionality.

Separated Stop and Repeat Icons.
  • Eliminates accidental pressing of stop button

v1.2 - adds rush order timer to Recipe Book and Create Windows, fixes maintained icons visibility, fixes resizing issues, eliminated variant without support for Enter and Esc keys.

v1.1 - fixes a cosmetic error with the tradeskill label, and introduces an Enter and Esc keys version for people who prefer them.

If you find the tooltips getting in the way you can disable them by right clicking on the 1-6 hotkeys and choosing the "disable tooltip option"

Utilizes the Event Icons modification from Z Tradeskill.

Feedback

With this mod I have strived to place everything where I think it should be. Unfortunately I am fresh out of ideas on how I can improve this mod. It may be perfect the way it is, but I think it could use some improvements with the placement and size of items.

I would like to know what you like and dislike about this mod. It will help me to know what needs improvement and what shouldn't change. With your ideas I may be able to make the tradeskill UI more visible and easy to use.

Personally, moving the durability and power bar to be under the progress bar might be a nice change.
Maybe swapping the position of the buttons/event icon and the spell effects as well.
Everything I could want is there already, good work.

I will look at changing the layout when I have more time to fuss with it. The current layout is the way it is mostly because of the tooltips that pop up when you hover over the reaction spells. I didn't want the tooltip blocking any useful info.

It seems that the tooltips aren't as important as they once were and can be turned off. Given that, moving those bars would mean that they would be more visible.

Now if only I could find a way to isolate just the reaction events in the status window instead of seeing your current buffs as well

The only thing I would want to see changed is to swap the progress and power bars, with that done this would be perfect.

I'm working on this but several things are stopping me from developing it further. I have a slightly different layout I'll be releasing, there's a few bugs I want to address before I release it however. I'll see if I can test and modify it this week.

Problems with the tradeskill window

I have used the your window for a while and love it.


With the new version the Durability bar is very pixalated and very difficult to see. Any thoughts?

Did you place the images folder in your ui mods directory? The pictures you see in the sidebar are how I see the mod on my computer.

I don't use profit UI, but I will install it, and see what the issue seems to be. Might take a few days, very busy with things atm.

Alright I tried it with profitui and I didn't have any problems with it working.

All you need to do is copy the images folder into the profitui folder and the eq2ui_tradeskills.xml file into the profitUI folder, should work like it does anywhere else.

I love this mod...here's a possible thought for an improvement

Both Drum's and Profit's Tradekskill have a (optional) dual pane. Recipes to the left, crafting progress to the right, with a "clear" button on the recipe search. Very handy while doing a timed writ, to be able to put your next recipe in place while you're doing one. Any chance you might implement that?

As I posted in the thread, the chances that you will see a major update such as that soon is very slim. RL is very busy atm.

However, it is a good idea for improvement and will keep it in mind for a time when I'm not quite so busy.

This is the only custom UI I have found worth having.

I'm not sure how you can improve this UI, but will be watching to see if you do. I have checked out a lot of custom UI's and this is the only one I use. I currently have 2 lvl 80 tradeskillers, and working on a full set, so I spend alot of time using this UI. I will certainly let you know if I think of any improvements.

Patch

Please tell me you are going to make a patch for the new expansion, had to uninstall and reinstall game and still a bit buggy, so I'm afraid to reinstall tradeskill UI, but I loath the standard tradeskill UI, so if nothing else let me know the new gu won't have a problem with your tradeskill UI so I can reinstall it.
