Description
OK, I've gone back to basics. This mod now does only what it did when I first released it. Specifically, it improves the tradeskill window's functionality by allowing you to activate the Begin, Stop, or Repeat buttons simply by pressing "Enter." Thus, bulk crafting becomes mouseless. You can also activate the Cancel button by hitting "Escape."

VERSION HISTORY:

060713 - UPDATE - Modified the window for LU25 compatibility.

060221 - UPDATE - Modified the window for LU20 compatibility.

060203 - UPDATE - Modified the window for LU19 (search function) compatibility.

060104 - UPDATE - Removed the mana and health bars, and removed the cookbook. (The recipe info is now part of the Milquetowst Info Center.)

050913 - UPDATE - (a) Added preliminary T6 harvest info and (currently empty) T6 recipe pages. (b) Corrected some information, most notably quest reward recipes and the discussion of how food/drink levels relate to adventurer levels.

050710 - UPDATE - (a) Put recipe lists into separate data files (as I did with reference info in some of my other mods). (b) Updated the data itself, most specifically correcting a few combine numbers for tier 5 drinks and adding to the lists recipes available as quest rewards.

050629 - UPDATE - Added food/drink duration to cookbook entries. (I'm not sure why that got left out in the first place!)

050628 - UPDATE - (a) Added ability to hit "Escape" for Cancel. (b) Added health and mana bars to the item creation screen. (c) Added the cookbook.

050516 - ORIGINAL RELEASE

Great Job

You have the wonderfull abbility to put info where it is needed. with that said for those of us who arn't cooks is there a way to change the tab names and amount of tabs. i'm not asking you to input every traid in your book. i'm asking is there a way we can do it. changing the txt files is not the point some crafters need more tab's than just the two for cooking. ie food and drink. thanks again for all your great mods.

two reasons for wanting lower quality items. the stats on pristine are not always more (for a given stat) than normal crafted. for instance, with bloodstone bracelets. pristine has +3 agility, fashioned has +5 agility, so certain classes or players may prefer the fashioned instead of pristine. also the required level is lower on lower quality items, such as tailored tunics, t4 crude can be worn at 24, shaped at 26, tailored at 28, and pristine at 30. t4 crude is better statwise than t3 pristine, so some people upgrade well before they are able to wear pristine of the new tier.

very different from provisioning where higher quality is always better than lower quality =) thats simply not so in most of the other trades.

Unfortunately, the game will only display stats for item/quality combinations that you've actually made. That's not something that can be modded.

You've lost me, though, with the comment about pristine quality not always being "most desirable." When and why -- except in the case of tradeskill writs, which of course specify a lesser quality -- would you *not* want to strive for the pristine result, and with it, the best stats?

this is an awesome mod for us crafter types thank you.
not sure if there is any way to do it but seems like it woud be cool if someone could put stats on all qualities of a crafted weapon/armor once a pristine of said item was created seeing as pristine is not always most desirable when it comes to weapons/armor.
keep up the good work guys..this is the first time ive ever dl'ed a mod and i think i am gonna look into messing round with them myself

looks fantastic

my provisioner is my favorite tradeskiller, and the recipe book alone makes this worth downloading. i'm happy with the tradeskill window i have (Fetish Tradeskills 4.0), so i'm very happy that you created an entirely seperate window for the recipes. i'll be doing exactly what you said and making a macro hotbar key to bring it up.

you're my hero.

The little bar you click on to scroll down thru all the recipies seems to be missing for me, I have to use the mouse wheel. Any suggesstions? Other than that this mod is Insanely useful.

If you just move the cookbook XML file, but not the tradeskill window file, into your mod directory, then you'll accomplish your goal. You'll still need to modify the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file so that the game knows the cookbook exists, of course. As well, without my modified TS window, you'll have no "button" to pull up the cookbook, but you'll be able to access it just by typing the "/show_window MainHUD.Cookbook" command (or by creating a macro to do it for you).

Is there a way to "selectively" DL the mod for the Provisioners notebook part, and not for the TS part? I don't want to change my actual TS window, but would love to have the Provisioners Notebook added to my list of recipe window.

Downloaded this finally.

It is the most useful mod i've seen next to EQ2 Map. Combining this mod with reconfiguring my keymapping to let me use numpad 1-9 for hotkey's has turned tradeskiling around 100%

After a month, I finally realized that part of the problem here is that my original posted description of the mod was wrong.

The "Cancel" button hasn't been tied to anything. It's the "Begin," "Repeat" and "STOP" buttons that I've tied to the "Enter" key.

*Sigh*

Not to stomp all over you, but Cancel might be better if it worked offa escape instead of enter
