===Vers. 1.4===
Zip file was missing the Image Folder which is now fixed. I apologise to everyone that downloaded this and got no Assist button graphic.

===Vers. 1.3===
I made a mistake labeling the players F1-F5 when it should have been F2-F6 which is now fixed.
I have to stop updating mods when i'm so tired.

===Vers. 1.2===
As requested, I put the F1-F6 labels in this mod.

===Vers. 1.1===
I goofed on the second group slot when adjusting the code, but now it's fixed.

===Vers. 1.0===
I came up with this idea cuz I would attack a wrong target sometimes while in a bad grp combat situation of multiple mobs surrounding us. I even tried creating a macro, right clicking the tank, but all that was a hassle IMHO.

So I posted the concept on the forums and asked that the more experienced coders play around and see if they could find the code for it and WHALA! They did!!

I took the Prototype and tweak some basic things and now i'm posting here for all you guys to DL. Enjoy, cuz I certainly am.

These guys whiped all this up within 24 hours of my post so they deserve a big pat on the back. *CLAP CLAP CLAP*

They did try to have the same button auto attack too (Melee), but the code won't allow for it yet. Keep an eye open and see if this updates for the Melee option.

Feel free to "borrow the assist code to update or change ur own mods.

If you like this mod, please say thanks, or u like it, or it saved you from group grief or just anything. It's other players comments that drive me and others to design and make these wonderful mods.

Thanks Ger,

I was planning on adding Kick / Disband / Invite Target buttons, but I'm new to "button" code and the only way for me to learn is by reverse engineering other code and then tring to make my own from it.

Feel free to write a "how to" on creating buttons, lol.

Very nicely done. Loved the idea in the concept thread, still love it.

Suggestion for an addition: kickfromgroup button. Using the same theory as the assist code (OnPress="kickfromgroup group_member_#") I added small close buttons to each groupmemberinfo page. Works like a charm.

This looks great.

Unfortunately I have a little problem when I install this mod. Instead of the assist button i see only a little black square. I think this is due to some missing images that are refferenced in the eq2ui_ButtonStyles.xml. When I open the mod in the UI builder it creates a file ui.log with the following content:

Error opening 'images/a_widgets01.dds'
Error opening 'images/a_widgets01.dds.png'
Error opening 'images/a_widgets01.dds.tga'
...

I have searched a little bit but I haven't found them anywhere. Are they included in any of the other mods?

Wow, this is really great. Thanks for adding the Fkeys! I can't wait to use this!

One minor cosmetic suggestion (I hope you don't think I am being overly critical), it might look better to have the Fkeys next to the player's name rather then over the Health/Power bar. I just think it looks nicer that way and doesn't block your view of the bars.

Look at Insomniac's group window mod to see what I mean.

This is a GREAT idea, however I am curently using the group mod that adds f2-f6 next to each group member name which I also really like. Anyway to add that to your assist mod? A group window with the assist button and f key numbers would be a huge help.
