Description
The short history of this mod is that I wanted an easy way to heal raid members outside of my group without lots of steps.

The main feature of this Raid Window mod is 5 buttons next to each raid member.
Pressing one of the buttons will do the following sequence:
  • Clears queued abilities -- So that the spell attached to the button is the next cast
  • Cancels any current casting -- Optional (Different files in the download)
  • Casts the button ability on raid member -- No target switching occurs; /target_previous history stays intact
  • Optionally sends a chat macro depending on the button.

This version of the raid window will automatically detect your priest class and switch spell sets. The T8 equivalents of minor heal, arch heal, single target specialty heal, "Cure" and "Cure Curse" are default. No XML modifications are needed unless you wish to change these defaults, or you are not a priest class with predefined defaults.

This raid window can be resized to different column/row arrangements. 4x1(1128px/119px) and 1x4(280px/476px) would be most common. You may also right-click a non-raid member spot to choose Basic mode which will hide the buttons.

This version will also sync the backdrop/frame opacity of each group window to the opacity slider in the Window Settings. This feature is not automatic but will sync when the window opens and when the mouse passes over the window. So when adjusting the slider, mouse over the window to preview the results.

New with v1.7, you may attach chat macros to different button types. Starting on line 39, there will be five sections where you may add/edit the chat macros. The default provided is "raidsay Parent.UseAbility.SpellName used | Parent.UseAbility.SpellTarget", which may show up as "Cure Curse used | Aditu". The underlined segments will be replaced in the macro by their counterparts. When using chat commands such as /raidsay or /tellchannel (channelname), do not include a slash character. To enable a specific macro, you must set Active="true".

If you want to use spell codes instead of spell names(you're on a non-English server and spell names don't work for you), feel free to use these spell codes by replacing the last 18 Data lines(with spell names) with this one line. (T8)

The 1px gold border around each group page syncs its opacity to the opacity of the border making up the entire raid window. This opacity is changed in the Window Settings by changing the Frame and Title opacity. This is similar to how the Backdrop sliders work; you must close and reopen the window or hover the mouse over the window in order for the opacity changes to take effect.

v1.74
Fixed the spell definition for Warden2. Updated so the buttons could once again see the player's name after the GU54(SF) update. Overrode the tooltips for the buttons to be mostly blank. Switched the locations of Cure Curse and Cure. (I kept hitting Cure Curse instead of quick-heal sometimes) The heal icons light up a bit when the mouse is over them.

Updated so the buttons could cast on Battlegrounds players. Supposedly.

Personally I play the game at 2048x1152 and find it usable like that, but that's me.

Due to the 1x4/2x2/4x1 switching being controlled by the resizing of the window, it's lacking the ability to resize like my player/group windows. There are a lot of hardcoded locations and sizes in scripts so it's not "simple" to resize. I haven't a clue what size to make it either.

Larger size?

Any chance of making this raid windows icons larger? (or the entire thing?)
I am playing on max res settings and while that is amazing for looking at other players it make things REALLY small - such as your UI

Macro

I was wondering if you could edit or just help me edit to make it so that the curse curse macro goes off without having to use 1 of the other click to cast buttons first. I seen it was asked a page or 2 back but did not see a reply.

I use your Raid/Groupmember/Personal windows, and I love them except for that 1 thing. Any help would be appreciated.

Ooh, now that is interesting. I will definitely download it again and give this a try; I wasn't trying to drag the names to a specific spot. Really hope that solves my issue because I'd love to use it again.

EDIT: You're totally right. It would seem my problem is solved. I can finally use this mod again! /cheer

I don't know particularly why it's the case because this mod actually started with default as the base... but you must drag people's names onto the healthbar portion of the destination for the game to detect the drag/drop action.

I'm making this post because I have an issue that I truly hope can be fixed. I have moved on from this mod because of it, but it is still my favourite.

My problem is that this mod makes it near impossible to move people between groups as the leader of a raid. It's as if when I click, the window is lagging out, and it takes several attempts to move the person, and sometimes it won't work at all, to the point that I just have to give someone else the leader position.

I have not had this problem with raid mods I have used since, though the button layouts make me want to switch back (others usually have 4 seperate cure buttons which have not been needed for a long time, and buttons over the health bars, etc).

Is there anything that can be done?

I have a problem. This window does not work for me. I also play on the German server a "Wärter"/warden and I do not know exactly what I must now change in the file so that the healing goes through the window. I have changed the Warden in "Wärter" and changed the spellnames to the spellcodes, but he tells me that the ability is no longer available. Has someone a solution or knows exactly what I need to replace?

EDIT: Ok, now it works. I have change in "Defaults if not a priest class" the spellnames with the spellcodes for the t9 spells.
Now it looks like this:

Are we able to do a cl_ui_skinname customui eq2ui_mainhud_raid in the eq2.ini file anymore? I want to use this but since the new xpac it will not work. Anyone know how to fix that?

Group Window

Okay, fine... so I made one. Everyone wanted a group window like the raid window, so it's exactly like the raid window. Though since it was one frame, I made it resizable up to 3x the normal size. EQ2 doesn't come with very many font sizes, so the fonts stop scaling at 1.6x (15pt to 24pt).

All of the coding and layout are done. I need to actually test it while grouped and to make a matching personal character window which can snap in. As group windows only have five members(F2-F6), but you're still part of the group(F1).

Neither of these suggestions work. Moving the raid mod file into the default_blue folder leaves me the default raid window. Moving the blue files into my custom UI (eq2maps) folder and leaving the raid window mod in there as well leaves me with no raid window at all.

GU57 & Battlegrounds

I love this UI, but the 5c c2c on Battlegrounds doesn't work anymore after the update this morning... will be able to update this you think?
