Those that are having problems with there tooltips not showing anymore.

Add this line to your eq2ui_fonts.xml

Look like Algorithm="Simple" show text as italic on some system ( like mine ) , changed Simple by Bold and now i can read my chat windows ...

Love this mod but I tried increasing the size of the fonts because I run in 1600 X 1200. Doesnt seem to do anything...when I try to increase them even more I end up get a critical error on login.

Amy ideas....just want to bump all the sizes up by a bit.

After live update #5, broker and other windows where you can type in text fields won't let you type anything with a custom fonts mod

ATTENTION!

If you downloaded this file before Feb 18th, delete eq2ui_proxyactor.xml from your mod folder to fix this issue. The rest of the files should be okay. This will cause the non-quest chat bubbles to revert to the original font, but the rest will remain as Arial. Re-downloading the mod will not fix this issue, you will have to delete that file.

i have a question about the fonts....
in the xml files there's a :

language="english"


can it be modified and turn to french or german, to reconize our specials letters like é or ü.

all that custom font stuff will work in any xml file.
throw
<TextStyle Algorithm="Simple" FontName="Arial" Language="english" Name="Font12" PointSize="12" UseCachedFont="true"></TextStyle>
into any xml file and use Font="font12" for an easy readable small font.
FontName="small fonts" will let you bust out a readable 8 or 9 point font.

The Funny thing ist, the initial Release worked on my German Client very well. I had the Arial Font in game after using the first Version of your Mod.

The second thing ist, the first Release included the Arial font File itself, the new one not, is it still needed in the UI\FONTS Folder?

And thanks alot for making my EQ2 Experience not so eyetaxing.

Talne - I added the following two lines into both my eq2_default.ini and eq2_recent.ini and it seems to have worked (the update doesn't change it back) -

cl_ui_skinname QuickArial
cl_ui_subdir UI/

This would be a badly needed add-on to my UI but every time I install it and then restart EQ2, EQ2 reloads the default Zapf font and im stuck with the terrible default font, any suggestions?
