InfoCenter tabs (outdated screenshot)

Description

Game Update #67 Compatible

* This mod is compatible with the Info Center but does not require it.

Description:
This is an add-on to my Journal modification which adds 3 tabs from the Info Center into the window. While this is an add-on, it also includes the original journal XML files. The text files included in the zip are the same from the InfoCenter, so you may overwrite a lot of files, but that's okay.

Three tabs (Writs, Quests, and Epics) have been ported over from the Info Center to co-exist here in the journal window. This is an extra way to keep track of where you are on a quest, or quests, you are on.

Installation Notes:
- How To: Install A Custom UI
- eq2ui_journals_quest.xml goes in your CustomUI folder.
- eq2ui_journals_active.xml goes in your CustomUI folder.
- eq2ui_custom_optional.xml goes in your CustomUI folder.
- /InfoCenter/ folder goes in your CustomUI folder (retain folder structure from Zip).

Extra Install Notes:
- rename eq2ui_custom_optional.xml to eq2ui_custom.xml if you do not already have this file.
- If you already have a eq2ui_custom.xml add the following to yours:

Missing eq2ui_journals_active.xml

Hey Drum..
Great Work

eq2ui_journals_active.xml was missing from the RAR file.
It is in the no InfoCenter QJ RAR though.

Display Problem

Hi, I love the addon but at this moment i cannot view the txt files in the infocenter, its just coming up blank, ive included the line in the eq2ui_custom.xml so it works fine, just comes up blank. Could anyone have suggestions on that ?

journal stand alone works perfectly
info center standalone works perfectly
this one adds the three buttons to the journal
clicking on them opens the tab with the appropriate buttons along the left side for the three tabs ie writs etc

clicking on the left hand buttons however doesnot acces the info center data

it merely brings up where the info should be a string of parent parent parent then custom writ index etc same for the other two tabs as well not sure whats going on . info center works perfectly with this installed or removed seems to be a call failure of a sort

just out of curiosity i was poking around the files didnt see anything out of place where was the problem ?

if its not to complex or time consuming still learning on this end :P

The code inside of InfoCenter/Writs/writs_journal, InfoCenter/Epics/epics_journal, and the Quests file have specific pointers to the text files.

Since the new code is embedded deeper in the Journal (inside the Quest tab rather than in their on top-level tab) I had to update the code to point further back up the coding tree.

Hope that makes sense. I basically only had to add an extra "Parent.Parent." to all the code pointing directly to the .txt files and it worked

All I see in the text section is

Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.Parent.Custom.Includes.hq_honor_service.txt

and various things like that.

I completely removed the drums UI folder, downloaded the latest full install, then extracted this update to the DrumsUI folder. I see the tabs in the journal, but they don't show any info except a lot of parentparentparent stuff

Make sure your eq2ui_custom.xml correctly has <include>InfoCenter/includes.xml</include> in it, or use the supplied file.
