I have not been able to download the following files:

Downloading eq2ui_mainhud_betamark_H.xml
Downloading eq2ui_mainhud_betamark_v.xml
Downloading eq2ui_mainhud_raid.xml
Downloading eq2ui_popup_setprice.xml
Downloading DarqUIspellsDE.csv

is their another way to get this files?

Hi,

I cannot download Theme files with the downloader.

I disabled Virus protection and firewall but no go. Alternate download method not helping either.

Allways getting this result:
Is there any place where we can download all the files not using updater?

That makes more sense now, the few times I got it to work, I was casting on a party member, all the other tries were on myself in group window.

Btw, I was using the Macro#4 style. Maybe the dev pushing this will get the group window changed to include the player, he/she has made a comment about that in the past.

Dorfus, the new %v mnemonic is working in the DarqUI and DarqUI Live group windows. Try creating a macro using one of the choices below -- Spell/Ability or Command:





%v will not cast on yourself in the Group window. Since the default window only contains group members 2 through 6, the game does not recognize the custom UI "self" tile. You will have to use the DarqUI Live spell icons or hover over the Player window to cast on yourself.

Have you tested your group window with the new macro mouseover %v? I'm having problems getting my heal macro to work and I'm not sure if it's because I'm doing something wrong, the implementation is still buggy or there is something in the UI element that isn't responding correctly.

After failing to perform in my normal macro, I created a test macro that only contained
Photosynthesis [%v ]
the brackets representing the target field of the macro element. It would work when mousing over my Player UI window (default EQ2) but not over the group window (Darqui Live).

Following the threads in the EQ2 forums, Endymion commented:
In another thread, you mentioned using DrumsUI, so it might be related to that somehow. It should be clearing out the mouseover target whenever your cursor "exits" the related UI frame (so far, this seems to be true in my personal playing experience).

While this comment was directed towards a DrumsUI user, it implies that there are actions that are controlled by the UI element. Seems kinda silly but I have no clue what hoops have to be jumped through to make this stuff work. If you find it's working fine for you, then it's something I'm doing wrong and will direct my efforts that way.

I had disregarded in-game vision because I didn't expect it would render invis elements black. But it does! Fixed with a simple click, many thanks

On the XP bar, scroll to page 11 and toggle the "night vision" icon. Turning it off should set the palette back to something more normal. There are two graphics settings that get changed by this feature, and previous versions of DarqUI would sometimes only set one of them so you may have never noticed it was set. The current version forces the two values to sync. Your setting should stick between sessions. I took some quick screenshots below in a zone with it turned on and off, they show the hanging fern similar to what you are seeing. Please post back here if toggling the setting does not fix your graphics.

Thanks so much for your great interface & updates.

I am having a weird problem though, which I narrowed down to the installation of DarqUI. Invis textures are rendering black, and whites and very bright. In the dressing room window they appear completely invisible. If I remove DarqUI (I have been using it for ages), the graphics return to normal (they only started doing this last week). I have tried DarqUI live and the window utility version with the same results. I tried out DrumsUI instead and didn't have the same problem.

Have you got any suggestions for what I could try next to resolve this? The only thing I can think of is that I have such an old installation of the game/UIs, there might be some file conflicts somewhere.

I have also some problems to update the UI, i'm from germany.
Don't know of any blocked servers from my ISP.
Already pressed the download button 20 times, or something like this, but always the same:

Preparing to download 2 files and folders.

Unfortunately still no improvement, my ISP is from the Philippines so there may be a problem there. I will try it using a VPN service after I have set it up, and let you know the results

mdhoog, sorry you've been having trouble with the updater. I do see some problems that appear to be affecting primarily Asia and Europe over the past 24 hours. I just made a change on the update server, check for updates again and post back here if it's still giving you trouble.

I have tried that but i guess my ISP doesnt like your server... i have gotten some files but the rest just fails, tried it for quite a few times but no luck
