Group window custom layouts should be displaying properly. Please post if you are still having trouble with version 3.005 which is on the updater.

Would appear that they completely removed SOE EMOTE and that they replaced the group window with the pre emote window so UI creators gotta update it.

Just double checked and I have version 3.004. Couple of other people are having the same problem. Sort of works when using one of the preset layouts but soon as you try and use custom it stops working.

And, by 'sort of works' when using preset I mean it doesn't save it's orientation. If I stretch it/set it so it's horizontal it will revert back to stacking vertically every time I join/start a new group. I'll have to redo it so it's horizontal again each time. The orientation not saving may just be me, I didn't ask anyone else if they had this problem.

Both issues just started after the patch. I was in-game an hour before patch hit and had no problems.

Reran the updater to make sure everything was up to date as well.

I can PM you screenshots of what I mean if that will help?

I'll look at this, sorry you're having trouble. In the utility, make sure you are using v3.004 or higher of the group window.

Use the utility to check for updates, then right-click the gear icon next to Bag, and choose disappearing titlebars.

Updates are flowing from the server and I don't see any recent outage reports. So this sounds more like a firewall/antivirus issue. Try turning off your antivirus just long enough to get the updates.

When I logged into the game I found the portrait appeared in my group window and I cannot seem to find a way to turn it off. People said run the updater so I downloaded the latest version of darqui and ran the updater. It found 7 files that needed updating but when it went to download them it gave me a message for each one that it could not be downloaded.

Any insight into this would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

As of patch today, 8.22.17, the custom layouts for group window no longer work. When attempting to use a custom layout the group window is entirely blank.

You've got the right idea for using the Icon Bar. Pretty much anything you can set up a hotkey for can be added to the Icon Bar window for each character. You can set up individual icons manually from inside the game, but you will probably have an easier time using the utility.

First you need to save your hotbars: While logged in with your character, click the "Window Manager" icon near the bottom of the Start menu and choose "Hotbars" in the window that appears. Click "Save Hotkeys." Now open the DarqUI utility and choose your character and Icon Bar at the top. If you don't see the character and window dropdowns, click the <-- arrow in the upper left hand corner of the utility.

Once you are at the Icon Bar page, click the [?] at the top of the window. There is quite a lot of help for setting up your icons from that point.

i am just returning and decided to try this ui.. nice btw, a little overwhelming but nice.... anyway i cant seem to get the icon bar setup... the help page said something about choose my hot bar to load my icons and spells or something.... i cant find a my hot bar option anywhere... anyway i have spent the last 3 days trying to set this ui up and getting very frustrated.

how in the world do i get the icon bar to set up and with my ability icons... i would love to put my non essential stuff on it like my mount icon, guild hall and other teleport.. my constant running buffs ( sk btw). basically buttons that i do not push that often....or did i completely misinterpret what this bar is for???

p.s why is my group window keep resetting each time i log in? i click save on all changes but every time i log in its at default again
