Hiya Darq!

Back in the day Everfrost guildie of yours here. Great UI - working fantastic on my Wife's PC but I'm having issues. Quick and dirty, install went great, logged in and the UI did not auto load so I tried the /loadui and the game client shuts down - every time. The only thing I can think of is I'm running a 3840x2160 res and the UI may not blend well. Otherwise I can think of nothing that is any different than my wife's machine that, as mentioned, is running great.

Help is of course appreciated.

Each interface has some advantages. DarqUI can be customized for up to 12 characters, and the Quick Setup feature does most of the work of setting up your characters automatically before you log in to the game. On the other hand DarqUI Live does not have a limit on how many characters you can set up, and all configuration changes are done on the game screen while you are playing. Some players object to running an app like the DarqUI Window Utility out of concern for security, so the DarqUI_Live interface folder is published periodically along with the updater.

I normally like to have my hotbars right above my chat windows. In the past, I've used "slim" chat window mods to remove the title bar area and such.

Currently, I have a set of frameless chat windows lining the bottom of my screen. I am using the "tab on bottom" version to reduce the amount of blank space above the window background... but the space for the titlebar is still there. This makes it difficult for me to mouse over or click an icon on the hotbar.

I would really love the ability to remove the chat window title bar area entirely.

Hi Darqwood! Thank you for the great UI. I was just wondering... do you think it's better to run the live or the normal version of the UI? Why are two different versions of the UI maintained?

Downloaded the update and works fine all side tabs work.

A new version of the Character window is on the update server now. Please post back if the side tabs give you any trouble.

Looking at it now, thanks for the heads-up.

And yes I will be adding the new server names to the utility, although in the meantime you should be able to type the new server name into the cell like a spreadsheet even though it's not on the dropdown.

Hiya

Not sure if your aware but the character personal window seems to be not working right on the new TLS Stormhold.
The tabs that say Equipment,Apperance,Skills ect list on left hand side are not working when you click your mouse over some of them.
for example:-
If I click on housing it opens options ,if I click on options it doesn't work.
If I click on Currency it opens Biography,clicking Biography opens combat stats and so forth.
I have no invisable window over the character Personal window and others in chat have said the same thing who use DarqUI.

I am using version 2.5.1.2 of DarqUI.

I don't have the above issue on the normal Live servers (Splitpaw) and I just switch the Location from EU to US via the EQ2 Launcher when I want to play on Stormhold (TLS)

Also any chance you can add the TLS names to the quick set up server list when your free please.

Like the title says the utility crashes with reporting invalid item at index 8 after using quick setup setup function

I did the update and while its better, Is there a way to zoom out all the way?
Still can be a bit close

There are some changes to the dressing room on the updater. Items that use the scroll wheel to zoom should scale down much smaller than before. Try it and post again if it gives you any more trouble.

Hey Darq:

Whenever I look at items in my dressing room they are super zoomed in. I loaded the default ui and it is fine. How can I fix this. I can't see anything loool. Thanks
