I'd check the Profit or Killarny or possibly Fetish maintained spell windows. The main difference between mine and there's was mouse-over. So, one of those windows would probably be what you're looking for.

1) Most importanly it needs a right alignment option.
I always shove these right against right side of screen so I
can't see the popout text when it appears.
If you can't make it do it on auto like default stuff maybe
"Frames only" could be left and "None" could be right or similar.
2) This is a really neat idea so we need an Effects window version
of this too!

Right aligning the window is quite the problem. That's why there currently isn't an effects window - my maintained window is on the left side of the screen, while the effects window is on the right side...
I am thinking on a way around it, but no guarantees on success or a timeframe...

Have you tried alt-m to bring the window up and other troubleshooting?
If so, can you PM me an e-mail address that I can send a test version of the UI to you at? If it solves your problem, I'll update the main file on this page, but if it doesn't then back to the drawing board...

I have a suggestion for you.
How about putting small numeric timers overlayed on each of the icons showing the timer countdown (if there is one) and making the window just wide enough to show the icons not the first few letters of the names like you do now. then give these overlays a onmouseover attribute of hiding on mouseover. then you can also show this number in the text to the right but only when moused over. Also on your resizing of the parent make it so when you mouse over it only resizes the horizontal width of the window not the vertical as well and leave the whole window as resizable by user. see that way no one has to alter the code to resize the window per their resolution. people will be able to set the vertical height at what they want and have a streamlined maintained window showing only the icons with numerical overlay of the timers very streamlined and when they mouse over then it will expand to show full name of each spell and timer to the right. I think this will be much cleaner looking and more functional.
If I did not explain myself well enough feel free to send me a private message.
I think you have had a great idea here but is in need of a bit of refining.
