nice job but when i load new updated ui the chat windows are gray with white border any ideas

After used this UI,I found UI.txt in my LAFFSV8 folder,shows:
Error opening 'cachedfont1.font256.dds'
Error opening 'cachedfont1.font256.png'
Error opening 'cachedfont1.font256.tga'

what's this mean?

PS:Im a player from EQ2 east...

Never heard of that happening before likes.....

And with the target info yeh you gotta camp to desktop when switching chars .... As for why this happens I have no idea, looked into it loads of times now and just cant seem to find out exactly why this info gets messed up when you switch chars /shrug

This skin is really really cool but I'm having a big issue with it. I can't use "chat options" box. Everytime I bring it up to rename my chat boxes my computer freezes. It's not a computer issue b/c it works with the default skin. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I may reapply the skin, b/c no one else said anything about my issue anywhere.

This is a common problem and I always find this to happen after I have switched characters via Character select. The fix until someone figures out why it happens is to simply never camp to character select but camp to desktop. Sometimes inconvenient but it prevents the UI problems you describe and a couple others that happen for the same reason (character select screen)

iv read the guides...and done what it said and checked it all, but something is still wrong, all that happens is it turns my boces grey,help?

Noticed with the new patch that I am having trouble with chat windows dispearing as well as the new skills window is blank. I love the UI and dont want to change.

I've seen this a few times now too. I would also like to report that the window with the concentration will also now and again get bugged. It seems to happen on zoning occasionaly. What happens is that the current spells dissapear and newly cast spells hide behind the concentration bar and are not visible. Temp fix is to relog to character select and it rids it for a while.

I'm also in a heavy raid guild and would like to ask that you shrink the raid windows way down. There is all sorts of room after the name of the character to tighten it up width-wise. I'd like to have as much room as I can to see the action!

I am not sure if it is just me, but I have noticed that after a few hours of play that my UI starts to act a little querky. My target information that is usally the con color of the mob will turn red for every mob and I am unable to read it or change it. I have had to reinstall the UI a number of times now and was wondering if it was something that others were having. I love the UI and would appreciate any help.

Love the UI but for whatever reason some of the backdrops on windows are fading when placed in their intended location. When moved to the center of the screen or moused over the backdrop comes back. I have tried playing with the backdrop normal/mouseover settings but this has no effect. Otherwise everything seems great

By settings file do you mean this one "server_charname_eq2_uisettings(1280-1024).ini"

Its been the same since the last 4 updates maybe more.. But there was a few problems with the last update in the form of croupt zip file etc.

I will check stuff again and re-submit in next few days... Thanks

First, want to say I think your UI mod is the best out there...which of course is why I'm using it.

Since your 2.3 update I've been having problems with the uisettings.ini (not working). I just use the ini from the last update but it's a pain when helping first time users install it. Can you please check it out?

Slash / Crush etc, Has been broken for a while now, SoE must be sending some data to the display as they show up as 'zero' insted of the 999 values that I used for spaceing... But as to when they fix the data or if they ever do I dunno..

So I figure I will leave them in untill the next patch and if they start working again then good, If not I guess I will remove them after this..
