i had similar problems with .net . i trawled the ms support forums to try and find a solution and the only vaguley helpful post i could find was someone who said that it seemed to work the 5th or 6th time. so i retried again and again and eventually it just worked.

i have downloaded the net.frame stuff and still have problems. it says updater has encountered a problem and needs to close. were am i going wrong?

Well I am not sure if I am in the right area, But I found out that for some reason this will not work on a windows xp PRO AMD2800 but works GREAT on Home addition AMD64 bit 3200. I love the ability to see just what and where I am. Trouble is my Laptop (home) has a crappy Vid comparied to my Desktop (PRO) that has a cool Vid. Anyway thought I would toss my two coppers out there.

I wanted to belatedly say (been using this utility for a LONG time but replacing my hard drive and having to download this again reminded me to respond here)... anyways, I wanted to say that the EQ2map mod is my favorite feature listed on eq2interface while I could LIVE without my thorui (tho not happily) eq2map is a completely necessary part of the game IMO. The Map situation in the default UI was something I was very disappointed with from the launch of the game and when I found eq2map mod I was ecstatic , nothing has increased my joy in and love of the game more than this particular mod. Thanks Tacoman and any others who have been a part of creating it and posting the FAQs and support for it. I mean thanks to all the UI authors but the map mod in particular was a godsend

I'm returning after a long hiatus from the game and was relying on EQ2maps to be a big help in getting reaquainted with the game.

However, I'm finding so many Incorrect POI's that it's become a detrimetnt o try to use it ro navigate.

Is there any quality control to the POI's or are the just lumped in continually?

Specifically, I'm finding a number of instances that don;t appear to exist anymore. An Open Grave, Caves of Wonder, etc..

Im finding lots of POI's and NPC's that are in EQ2 map but not in the game world?

Is it possible I'm doing somehitng wrong?
